School Consulation

Dr. Anderer’s training as a certified school psychologist provides her with the expertise to consult with schools to optimize the student’s experience in the classroom. Dr. Anderer has consulted with many of the schools in the Philadelphia area, both public and private, to help schools to better understand the students and their needs.

Dr. Anderer can support families in:

Navigating the process and issues around the provision of special education services including Individual Education Plans, Chapter 504 Service Agreements, and Gifted Individual Education Plans.
Choosing an appropriate school placement
Making retention or acceleration decisions.
Consult with teachers about specific strategies to help students use his or her strengths to compensate for areas of difficulty.
